Raise Your Racquet for Club & Court’s Latest Collection
Raise your hand- or racquet- if you are ready for Club & Court’s early spring collection! My favorite local tennis clothing brand released several new styles, as well as new colors for some of their best selling tennis clothes, earlier this week. And me and my girls are absolutely loving what C&C is giving us yet again!
With this collection, Club & Court’s tennis clothes have been updated using the most gorgeous athletic performance fabric from Peru. It’s even more luxurious than before. This fabric is silky soft with great movement to provide the most flattering fit. Plus, this fabric has all of those athletic qualities like moisture wicking properties and tons of stretch so you’ll be able to play, and look, your best in these clothes.
The Hadley Dress is Club & Court’s most popular tennis dress. This simple, a-line dress is a top seller because of its sporty sophistication. It’s easy to throw on and look polished. Plus, I love that it’s very flattering on all body types. The Hadley Dress has now been updated with the new fabric and comes in two new colors.
I don’t know how C&C does it. This pink is seriously the most perfect shade. Club & Court, you somehow managed to turn me into a pink person!
And back by popular demand, the adult styles are made mini once again so that the littlest tennis fashionistas can match the big girls on the court.
We are big fans of the mini styles in my house. Mila loves to match me almost as much as she loves to play tennis.
The Track Top is a new style for Club & Court that is inspired by a popular tank from the 70’s. I love the curved lines along the bottom and the trim throughout. I find this top to be super flattering and comfortable.
Pair the new Track Top with the Pleated Skort, which now also comes in all white… and you have the most beautiful, classic tennis look that can easily be worn off the court, as well.
For this shoot, I got to borrow the most stunning tennis bracelets and necklace from my friends at Ilyan Jewelry. Do you know how tennis bracelets got their name? And yes, it does have something to do with the sport!
In the 1978 US Open tennis match, Chris Evert wore her dainty, dangly, diamond bracelet just as she had been doing for years. She believed this bracelet brought her luck when she played. During the match, her bracelet fell off. The Open had to be paused while Chris exclaimed “my tennis bracelet is gone”. The bracelet was eventually found. And from then on, this stunning and classic accessory that stopped play at the US Open in 1978 was known as the tennis bracelet, thanks to Chris Evert!
After this, people began to wear their diamonds with their everyday (even sporty) looks … which you know I fully support! Ilyan Jewelry is located in Haverford and all of their current pieces can be found online here. They also customize one-of-a-kind jewels and curate new collections constantly. While I had to borrow these jewels, I do own a few very special pieces from Ilyan that you will often see me wearing even when I am not getting fancy.
The holidays may be over but I am still in the giving mood, so….
