What Came Home With Me

Sure, it’s summer. And I get that jackets aren’t exactly at the forefront of your summer brain right now. But there are some things worth buying in July when the prices are this good. And that’s why I love the Nordstrom Anniversary sale year after year.

So this is what I brought home from Nordstrom. And I promise it’s worth the brief disruption from dips in the pool and trips to the ice cream shop. You can thank me later when you find yourself grabbing all of these pieces.

Accessories this good don’t need to be seasonal. And the NSale is a great time to stock up on shoes and bags while they are majorly discounted. So here are the accessories that came home with me, fitness finds style.

I love these sneakers more for everyday “fashion” wear than actual exercise.

And while this pair from New Balance is currently sold out (but add them to your wishlist from this link, and keep checking for restocks), here are a few of my favorite fashion sneakers that are part of the sale and still in stock.

These great bags can be used for travel but of course, I plan to use them for the gym.

You can still get this adorable neutral print, but I’m guessing it won’t stay in stock for long!

I’m also really excited that this jacket is still in stock. I find myself reaching for these kinds of pieces all year long. That’s because I am the no-shower-after-class queen.

Let’s get back to the sneakers.

I love how so many great running shoes are part of the sale this year. Favorites like Hoka Machs, Asics Gel-Kayanos and On Cloudmonsters that were all part of my annual running shoe try-on haul this year are now 30% off here.

It’s no surprise that I came home with a few new fitness fashions.

These leggings are perfect for the more low to medium impact workouts like Pilates and barre. But I also love them for everyday wear.

I am wearing the sports bra that I got a few years ago at the NSale and it is still my absolute favorite sports bra. I will reach for it anytime it’s in my drawer. And it’s part of the sale again. So yeah, you need this.

This bra has built-in, thin, foam cups so it’s easy to wear. I feel very confident and secure in it. And it’s great for higher impact workouts.

Yes, I know I got a lot of black at the sale. But it’s my most worn color for a reason and I’m not about to mess with a good thing.

I absolutely love this top. The mock neck is definitely something different. It’s so flattering, highlighting the shoulders that I have been working so hard at! It’s a longer length top for more coverage. And there are removable cups that I’ll take out and just wear my Cakes pads instead.

And it goes cute with shorts, leggings or even denim and other everyday bottoms.

Fine, here is your color.

And what a color! Zella has really upped their game in recent years. Two of the three active sets in this post are from Nordstrom’s activewear brand. With bras, tops and shorts in the $30’s and leggings under $50, you cannot beat these prices with this quality.

There are so many uses for a lightweight sweater, but I’ll likely wear it most over my activewear.

I didn’t expect to bring an everyday dress from an activewear brand home with me. But I did and I wore this one right from the photo shoot and felt so comfortable and pretty in it.

After all, isn’t that all we want from our clothes?

Everything I brought home can be found in my LTK shop (size info is there, too). You can click on the pictures in this post to be directed to LTK where you will be able to add items directly onto your Nordstrom wish list so that you can shop, as soon as it’s your turn. All Nordstrom cardholders are currently able to shop and the sale will open to the public on Monday. As always, if you purchase something through any of the clickable links in this post, I will receive a small commission at no cost to you. But everything in this post is my honest review and that will never change!
