My Top 10 Fit Favorites from The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
It’s hard to narrow it down. There is a lot of good stuff that is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. For those of you looking to grab just a few standout pieces, here are my favorites from the sale this year.
Do you believe I went right from the mall to the trail? It’s true. If you run with a full shopping bag, it increases your cardio!
The Alo Airlift leggings are always that pair in my closet that I go for when I want to feel good and look good. I know I can rely on the performance quality. These leggings will hold up for all the planks, squats, lunges and strides. The fit is just perfect. They are high waisted and smoothing. The fabric is sturdy and compressive enough to hold you in yet they are still comfortable and moveable. I love the very modest shine of the fabric.
And can we talk about the colors? Alo always delivers gorgeous hues. Their new releases are based on new colors. The two shades of the Airlift leggings that are in the sale are stunning. I am grabbing one of each of what Alo is offering in almost everything but in the Airlift leggings, I am getting both colors. The price is good and my favorite leggings never go on sale! These will hold up for many years. My very first pair of Airlift leggings came from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale six years ago and they still look like new.
Because it’s still July, I had to get this set as well.
I love this sale for the sneakers and accessories. I left with three pairs of sneakers. Sneakers aren’t just worn for your workout anymore. These are a great neutral pair. The color is off white and will be perfect as my fall and winter white sneaker.
I am obsessed with these fun sneaks. The thick geometric cut out sole helps with shock absorption so they are great for cardio. I’ll probably wear them for all of those cardio dance classes that I love.
I have a huge variety of running sneakers so why stop now? And, I don’t have a trail running shoe yet. I love the looks of these. I have a few running friends who are obsessed with trail running. Maybe I will give it a try now that I have the shoes for it!
The bags in the sale this year are really good. I went with more durable fabrics such as rubber and neoprene. Not only do I love the modern look of these fabrics, they wipe clean easily, making any of these great gym bags. Click on the pictures to shop these bags.
The most unexpected find of the sale is the outfit below. This set actually makes me want to go into the office. The pants are not workout pants but they are great for every other part of your life. They are slimming, high waisted and comfortable. They are casually polished and can be dressed up or down with the right shoe and shirt. Of course, I opt for a sneaker and a tee. The blazer is so cool— made from the same fabric as the pants, a polyester blend that is eco friendly. The hood makes this blazer like no other in your closet.
The blazer runs big. I am never an XS but am wearing an XS and it works. The pants are true to size. They are pull-on pants so don’t be discouraged if you do actually have to pull them a bit to get them on. They are snug and sliming but very flattering once they are on.
All Nordstrom cardholders are able to shop now and last I checked, all of these items were still in stock. But I don’t expect them to be for long! So go, go, go!
