The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for the Most Active Little Humans

It’s time for the kiddies to shop the N Sale. This sale is a great time for kids to stock up on basics like underwear and socks, sneakers for their continuously growing feet and everyday clothes for the upcoming school year. The uniform of the little ones tends to be more athleisure and activewear focused. These little humans demand clothes that keep up with their non-stop lives. They value comfort over fashion, function over the label, without even realizing how smart they really are when it comes to their clothes. It took the adults a pandemic stuck at home to get just how important it is to wear clothes that make you feel good.

I want to start with my little guy because after two girls, shopping for a little boy is way more fun for me. I mean, black and white check boxer shorts??!! Come on! Most of these items come in big sizes too so while I am buying a size 3T for my guy, this board can work for active boys of any age.

#1. I always love Tucker + Tate for my kids because the prices are reasonable and the quality and style is great. This Baseball T-Shirt for $12.90 is a home run!

#2. My son has been wearing Miles since he was a baby. I love the clean and modern style of this children’s brand. And these Kids’ Side Stripe Joggers are no exception. Love this mustard color.

#3. My little guy is still in diapers, but I am hopeful that potty training will happen before the next Anniversary Sale. So he gets some big boy boxers right now, particularly because this cool pack from Treasure & Bond is part of the sale.

#4. These Adidas insulated sneaker-booties will keep my little dude sporty and warm in the cooler months.

#5. I had this jacket in my cart for my 5 yo daughter, but I’m not entirely sure she would actually wear it (Had it been purple, that would have been a different story). My son, on the other hand, will ONLY wear blue so he will be all over this cool Nike windbreaker.

#6 and #8. After a decade of dresses, I am happy to buy my first Nike swoosh performance tee and Nike mesh basketball shorts for a child of mine.

#7. Who else had these Saucony sneakers in the early 2000’s? I love that they are back.

My little girl and my big girl have very different styles since they are at such difference phases of their lives. For my little girl, these active pieces are cute and sporty with colors and patterns (yes, tie dye is still going strong) that my five year old will dig.

#1. This Zella Girl Hoodie is so soft and cozy and comes in tons of colors. And, its $22.50!

#2. These Zella Girl Studio Lite print leggings are fun for our fun little ones. This print reminds me of rainbow sprinkles on strawberry ice cream!

#3. I love the pink Nike swoosh on this tank. A bunch of other colors are available.

#4. This is another Zella Girl performance legging in a great color and print. I love the quality and the sale price of the Zella leggings for my girls. They hold up much better than the cheaper brands.

#5. How cute is this Tucker & Tate sweatsuit?! If your size is sold out, be sure to add it to your wish list so you will be notified when it restocks. And the restocks have been plentiful during the sale this year. I predict a good restock on July 28 when the sale goes public.

#6. A cute and comfy tee goes a long way at any age. This Zella Girl tee has a cute little tie in the back and some stitching details. The sale price is $18.90.

#7. I love velcro sneakers for the little ones because getting them all out the door is hard enough and to have to tie shoes, I might as well just stay home. Anything that makes life easier is my jam, and that includes shoes that my little ones can easily get on all by themselves!

#8. You had me sold on tie-dye … and Vans… for under $30.

My tween is all about the sporty look and I am in total support of that! No bright colors. No loud prints. And, definitely no puffy sleeves! She leaves all the puff sleeves for her mom.

#1. She cannot have enough plain white teeshirts. I get that. This one is under $10.

#2. I am loving the quality of my new Spanx leggings and they make kids leggings now too!

#3. Hey 90’s kids, our favorite brand is now being worn by our children. This Champion Vintage logo tee is straight from my tween days!

#4. This was the first item my tween added to her shopping cart. That’s because she already has these Nike Dry Tempo Running Shorts… in a few colors. But, I am pretty sure that I didn’t get them at this awesome sale price of $18.75.

#5. The only print my tween will give a second look is tie dye. I love this Treasure & Bond Oversize Hoodie in this neutral color for fall. Here are the matching sweatpants.

#6 and #8. Don’t forget to grab some basics for your tween like sports bras and socks.

#7. This is definitely the last sale that my big girl will be fitting into kids shoes. In fact, she may already be out of them…waaaaaaiiiiiiillllllll. Fingers crossed that these Nikes for $44 still work for her. I’m not ready to pay full adult prices for her stuff yet.

So now that I finished the shopping for the husband and kids, do I get to go back for myself again???!!!

I’d love to hear what you are thinking about my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 coverage. I know its been a lot but I hope it was helpful. Leave a comment or suggestion so I can know how to better serve you all!

Remember, the sale opens to the public on July 28 (online at 3 am EST) and I expect good restocks on that day.
