Backcountry Summer Sale Part 2: Accessories and Footwear

Let’s jump right in because there is soooooo much good stuff on sale that I want to share with you.

HATS:'

As you can imagine, there is a huge selection of headgear on sale. All different kinds for all different sports and weather. For sunny long runs, this hat may not be the cutest but I know it will make my aesthetician proud (and the side flaps can be removed). If trucker hats are more your speed for running, this one is fun and cheap! I also love the huge selection of straw hats (or visors) on sale that are best suited for activities like sitting in your beach chair. Thinking ahead, this cap will protect your noggin from the chilly wind during cold weather runs and this one is so cute and at a great price for all of your winter sporting needs.

SUNGLASSES:

The sunglass sale selection is plentiful. Keep in mind that not all of my picks are functional for sport, but I think you will forgive me when you see how cute these sale picks are. I love Smith’s and these and these are such great lenses. These Ray-Ban’s and these Oakley’s are good for sunny sports. I have never tried RAEN’s but I LOVE these in all 3 color options. Here is another really cute brand that I want to try at this price! And I am trying this brand, Electric, in a cute fashion frame and a fun sporty frame (are you starting to see a new favorite color for fall here?)

SOCKS:

I always think sales are the best time to buy socks. Good athletic socks are really important for performance but can be pricey. And, who wants to pay full price on something that will hide away under your shoes anyway? Backcountry has the best sock selection and there are so many good ones on sale. Here are just a few that are in my cart. These from Smartwool. These lightweight performance socks that are from a sustainable brand. These compression socks to hug my feet after long runs. I am getting these and these for skiing. And I am treating my husband to these and these so he will stop stealing all of my good socks!

SNEAKERS:

I always prefer buying sneakers in person so you can be properly fitted for your foot but I like to use an online sale to rebuy a shoe that I already know I like. Such as these Nike Air Pegasus Zoom Pegasus or the Nike React. And although I have never worn these shoes, or these, I’m gonna take the risk because they are just so darn pretty.

MISCELLANEOUS:

I love these rope bags to hold your essentials when you go to the gym, in a solid color or this fun print. And since face coverings are making their way back into our lives, I am using this sale for a refresh (actually, I have no clue where all of my face masks disappeared to since June??). I love the fun prints on this Stance face mask, the versatility of this gator and the warmth of this one for skiing. And since I have a few races on the calendar, I am getting this hydration vest and water belt for the big day.
