MY FAVORITE LADIES' UNDERWEAR TO WEAR UNDER THOSE LEGGINGS

Now that I represent a clothing company (Savvi) that could be best known for its life changing, booty shaping leggings, it's of utmost importance that those unsightly underwear lines don't ruin the look of that fiiiine behind.

I do often get asked about underwear lines. People want to know what underwear I like for exercising. So I decided to do a little research and development of my own because my underwear drawer was in need of an upgrade anyway.

Here are a few of the brands that my fellow fitness and Savvi ambassadors are loving. I tested out all of these under my seamless leggings to make sure they did not interfere with the booty-ful look.

I started this post a few weeks ago but decided to hold so I could test out one more brand that was newly on my radar. I am glad I waited because Negative Underwear is definitely my new favorite overall. Yes, it is expensive but I am telling you, it's worth the higher price tag. And I have $20 off for you to use for your first pair so keep reading... Not only are the colors gorgeous and the fabrics luxurious but these undies are constructed to last. The name Negative Underwear could not be more fitting as far as comfort level and line visibility goes. You feel and look like you have nothing on. I tried out the Sieve Thong ($30) and Sieve Brief ($35). The "sieve" fabric is micro-mesh which supports while being comfortable. I ordered my true to size, and while they looked huge when I pulled them out of the packaging, they fit beautifully. I also ordered a bra in the "whipped" fabric and I am going back to get some undies in this fabric because it is just divine! Look, I know this brand is pricey. But if they last much longer than your other pairs, then it's worth it. Put it on your Mother's Day wish list. After the year that we all had, I think we deserve the very best undergarments that are both sexy and supportive... just like us!

My favorite pair of underwear for working out is Sweaty Betty's Barely There Brief and the Barely There Thong. These undies are made with quick-dry fabric, are totally seamless, lightweight and breathable, and they have 4-way stretch... seriously, these have all of the characteristics that I look for in my leggings so its no wonder why I love these for exercising. They passed the "no lines" test with flying colors! Both the thong and the brief cost $20, but Sweaty Betty often runs promotions that include underwear. (They are currently running 2 for $24/ 3 for $28 promo). If you are going to try these, size down in the briefs but the thongs are true to size. (Not all Sweaty Betty underwear is created equal. The Mindful Seamless Hipsters are thicker and not at all seamless or invisible but I still like them - just not under leggings!).

I also really like the True&Co. bikini and thong. I love the True&Co. bras for all out comfort so I wasn't surprised that the underwear had the same comfortable result. The True Body All Stretch Bikini is one size (XS-L) fits all because of all of the stretch. (This style also comes in a one size XL-3X size). The thong, the True Body Thong, is the same fabric but is individually sized and runs true to size. I like this seamless option because of the comfort level and because it's the lowest price point of the ones I tried. The One Size Bikini is $20 and the True Body Thong is $16. Another plus, you can get these fast from Amazon in a pinch!

My friend, Abby (who introduced me to Savvi so she obviously knows a thing or two about awesome stuff), swears by the On Gossimer Mesh Hip G-String. The brief versions of this style are the Mesh Hip Bikini and the Mesh High-Cut Briefs, which work nicely under those high-waisted leggings. These are definitely the prettiest of the bunch. They aren't made with that soft, stretchy, elastane blend fabric like some of the others. Because they are made of nylon only, they aren't quite as functional for exercising, but they are just as comfortable as the other brands. These come in packs of 3 for $48 or an individual pair for $20 and they run true to size.

I had to include the Commandos because these are probably the most well known seamless undies out there. The brief I tried on is the Classic Solid Bikini, made from the "raw cut fabric" and the thong is the super soft Butter Mid Rise Thong. I do love the smoothing features of the fabric and find them to be flattering. Commando delivers on the promise of "no digs, bulges or lines". But, I don't care for the price tag. For the higher cost, I prefer Negative Underwear over these. Commando also makes a cotton bikini that I did not like at all-- it's not stretchy, it's not smoothing and it made for some pretty awful looking underwear lines.

So that's my list of favorite undies right now. I think my family will be relieved that I can stop talking about and photographing underwear... although it did give us lots of much needed laughs!😉. (I may consider posting the outtake videos of the slow motion clips of me throwing my new underwear up in the air 😂).
