Fitness Finds for the Holidays Vol. 1: Fit Gifts for the Tech Lover, Rest and Recovery Days, and Stocking Stuffers

In case you missed it, the shopping marathon is officially upon us. Lace up those sneakers if you plan to shop in stores. Stretch out those typing fingers if you plan to shop online. Either way, grab your wallet and LET’S DO THIS! Sales are basically everywhere you look this weekend so I am putting together a few volumes of my favorite FIT GIFT GUIDES and will be updating sale prices on IG for these items (and more) all weekend long. Rest assure that when you shop my links, the sale prices will be updated as soon as you are directed to the brands’ sites.

Even the best gift giver can become overwhelmed this time of year. Whether shopping for a fitness enthusiastic, a fitness novice or someone who has active goals for the new year, there are gifts here for you and everyone on your list. So use this list to shop for others, or pass it along (with arrows and circles) to those who buy for you.

FITNESS FINDS FOR THE TECH LOVER:

These fun, techy items are sure to excite any active person. What I love about these gadgets, aside from their effectiveness, is their simplicity. Most are very easy to set up and even easier to use. Trust me, if I can use them, anyone can! These items totally enhance your performance and help to make your fitness goals more achievable.

Brievelle Juicer: My husband bought me this juicer a few years ago when I was pregnant and needed to drink juice right out of the machine. This juicer is relatively easy to clean (compared to most of the machines out there). It doesn’t strip your fruits and veggies of their nutrients that you want to stay in your juices because of its cold extraction system. You can also put whole fruits and veggies right on in the chute. Anything that makes my life easier is #1 selling point in my mind.

Normatec Compression Boots. If you want to get the active person in your life the ultimate gift this season, this is it! These boots will forever be on my list but I am not expecting to find them under the tree this year. But I can dream! The popular compression boots just feel so good on tired legs and feet. They are somewhat portable and definitely easy to use so they are great for the home— for someone who is hard on their legs and needs to give them lots of love and care.

The Vibrating Massage Ball and Foam Roller. These two gadgets take the regular massage ball and foam roller to the next level for relieving those sore muscles.

Volt Heated Pullover: This Pullover may look like a normal shirt, but there is nothing normal about this black 3/4 zip. It’s heated. Yep! Battery operated with 3 level heat settings, this shirt is perfect for any outdoor winter activity.

Aftershokz Open-Ear Headphones: As a runner, these bluetooth headphones with bone conduction technology have been a total game changer. They sit in front of your ears (on your cheekbones) so that you can hear both the music and your surroundings. The charge of these babies lasts long enough to run a full marathon and beyond (8 hours is the battery life) so they work well for my disorganized life that doesn’t always allow me to charge devices after I use them. They are waterproof, lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear.

WiThings Smart Scale. This scale does so much more than tell you your weight. It gives you full body composition including body fat, BMI, bone and muscle mass and all sorts of cardiovascular statistics. (And for the pregnant person in your life, there are added “baby mode” functions).

Hypervolt Message Gun: I am finally getting a message gun. Lucky for me, I get to use one at my PT’s office, but I really wanted to use it immediately following my 10+ mile runs and I didn’t have access to it. So yeah, I am breaking down and buying one. This one comes with all of the bells and whistles. And I love that it’s quiet.

Theragun Mini: I also love this design because it’s small and great for travel. Plus, it gets me in the holiday mood because it’s red. The best part— A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of this compact massager will go towards the Global Fund to support the COVID-19 response to critical HIV/AIDS programs in Africa.

DribbleUp Smart Soccer Ball. Train smarter with this smart soccer ball using the DribbleUp app to improve your skills and track progress. This is perfect for the soccer player in your life who wants to take their game the next level.

Self Cleaning Water Bottle. This Larq water bottle is so stinking cool. Not only does it clean itself, it can clean your water, too!

Smart Watches. The kids Fitbit is the smaller, more colorful version of the adult one. Kids love to track their steps and set goals. It’s pretty amazing to see just how many steps those little critters take during the day.

I’m a huge fan of the Whoop and this is Amazon’s version, which not only tracks your activity but equally important metrics like sleep and recovery.

You can shop all of these items on my LTK shop here.

FITNESS FINDS FOR REST AND RECOVERY DAYS:

Tis the season to go, go, go so when January hits and you are able to allow some time for rest and recovery, you will be ready with these items.

The Lunya Robe. This robe is totally worth the price. Long or short, the design is super elegant and flattering. It’s sexy without using lace or silk to bring the sexiness (Lunya does have an classy and comfortable silk robe, as well, if silk is your thing). The fabric is a blend of pima cotton, modal and elastane so it’s super soft and moveable. I wear mine (I have the short version) all year round.

LED Light Mask. Light therapy has numerous benefits, particularly for the skin. Bring this treatment home with a wireless LED Light mask. You can chose from three different color light settings for different skin needs. This cool face mask is created by Skin Gym so it seemed fitting to include it on my list.

Silk Sleep Products. Silk hair ties, pillowcases and weighted sleep masks will make your nights more restful, while beneficial for your skin and hair. When you get a good night sleep, you perform better so why not use the time to also improve your skin and hair!

Essential Oils, Candles and a Palo Santo Gift Set. Create a calming environment for those rest days.

Foot and Hand Masks. I’m going to need several foot masks now that my race is over so I should treat my hands to one too while I’m at it. So these little packs are on my list. And while I am masking my hands and feet, let’s mask my hair too with the Briogeo Deep Conditioning Hair Mask.

Throw Blanket. Anthropologie has so many gorgeous throw blankets but this one really caught my eye.

Cashmere Socks and Leg Warmers. Nothing says luxurious, cozy winter like cashmere footwear.

Allbirds Dwellers. The sustainable shoe powerhouse has now put out limited edition slippers, just in time for the holidays. Shop them here and don’t forget to add a pair of socks (I recommend the Trino Tubers) to your order and you will get them for free when you check out using this link to shop. (In volume 2 of my gift guide, I will be sharing gifts for the kids so be on the look out for the mini Allbirds sneakers that my son is loving).

I am wearing the Allbirds Dwellers and my son is wearing the new, limited edition Smallbirds Wool Runners, which I will tell you more about in Vol. 2 of my Gift Guide that is dedicated to the kiddies.

You can shop all of these items on my LTK shop here.

FITNESS FINDS STOCKING STUFFERS:

Don’t come down to an empty stocking this year (go watch the SNL skit “I Got a Robe” and if you don’t know what I am talking about, you’re welcome!). Here are some small fitness finds that will make anyone excited to dig into that stocking on Christmas morning.

Megababe Products: First, go follow Megagbabe creator, Katie Sturino. She is an honest voice for inclusive body image. She celebrates her body by making celebrity looks super sized (#SuperSizeTheLook). Second, give her body products that solve real problems a try. Megababe Dust Puff and Body Dust is for those sweaty feet and boob cleavage. Thigh Rescue is used to prevent chafe. The Detoxifying Underarm Mask, the Detoxifying Charcoal Underarm Bar and a line of clean deodorants all care for an important but often forgotten body part. Any of these clean and cruelty-free products would be great additions to your stocking.

Feetures Socks: These socks are my favorite running socks. There are so many different types to suit your needs. They are a real treat on your feet.

Lifting Gloves: Ladies, if you haven’t hopped on the “girls lift big weights” trend, you are truly missing out. Don’t forget to protect your hands (and rings) with gloves. I also love my Arm Candy by Stephanie Gotlieb to hold my rings when I lift.

Khlorane Dry Shampoo: This particular dry shampoo has honestly saved me. I work out so much and don’t always have time for a full hair wash and blow out. This particular dry shampoo leaves no white residue- I swear! It tingles when you spray it onto your scalp so it really feels like it’s working. And it leaves your hair smelling minty fresh and clean.

Compression Socks: Any body can benefit from compression socks by maintaining blood flow to your legs and feet. And the Bombas ones are so pretty that you will want to keep them on all day.

Sweat Towel: If you like to do hot classes, it’s BYOT (bring your own towel) these days, so grab these cute ones from Lululemon.

You can shop all of these items on my LTK shop here.

Volume 2 of FIT GIFTS : Get Your Kids Moving, will be coming at you next! Stay tuned.
